I aim to act as a representative of the end-users who is able to mediate the voices between technology and human beings. I use emerging technology and design thinking to propose empowering and empathetic design solutions that enhance our daily lives.
I am a Master's student in Design for Interactions program at Carnegie Mellon University. Before coming to CMU, I grew professional design skills through participating in industry cooperation projects with global companies such as Samsung Electronics, LG, and Midea. For my undergraduate, I studied Industrial Design and UX Design at Seoul National University in Korea.
I aim to be a designer who is able to help people attain human factors, which ensures they enjoy psychologically as well as physically rich lives. To reach this goal in the contemporary world, combining emerging technology with human-centered design thinking is crucial. I keep thinking about how to dissolve technology into human lives and enable people to utilize technology without a sense of unfamiliarity or awkwardness.
I have mastered Industrial Design at Seoul National University in Korea. At SNU I gained professional experience working in co-operation projects with global corporations such as Samsung, LG, Posco, and Midea, and at international conventions such as Salone Del Mobile, Milano.
I'm recently looking for a 2019 summer internship. Please look around my works and feel free to contact me. :)
